Urban Gardening im Museum: unser großer Klosterhof

Urban Gardening in the heart of Nuremberg: Our large Klosterhof at the Germanisches Nationalmuseum is now open to you! Here you can enjoy the sun, discover diverse plants, and relax in our new community garden. Together with the local community, we have planted two vegetable beds with heirloom varieties and created a medicinal herb garden inspired by Hildegard von Bingen.

Our Urban Gardening project is part of the preparation for the special exhibition "Hello Nature. How Do We Want to Live Together?", which will be on display at the GNM from October. Here, nature and culture converge, inviting you to contemplate what our future lives in harmony with nature could look like. Come visit and explore one of Nuremberg's most beautiful gardens! Whether for relaxation, learning, or simply enjoyment, the Klosterhof offers the perfect green oasis in the heart of the city.
