BMW Z4 has a lot to offer in it's stock form and even more so when you unlock some hidden features via coding. Customizing your car makes it so much more enjoyable and convenient. It even unlocks some functions that would otherwise not be available in your country or on the specific year Z4 you have. US spec cars often have some of the key features disabled, but with the BimmerCode app we can enable them and match our European friends. In this video, I use the Veepeak OBD2 adapter which is inexpensive and works well on this age BMWs. My favorite change that I show you here is allowing the roof to be opened and closed while the vehicle is moving. Prior to coding, I was caught in the rain a few times and had to pull over to put the roof up, but now I can just close it while driving up to about 18 mph! I have also made it so Auto Start Stop feature remembers my last selection instead of always being turned on when your restart the car.
