This talk was given at a local TEDx event, produced independently of the TED Conferences. We have to learn from history; if we don’t, future generations will make the same mistakes, will try to reinvent the wheel.  Iby talks to young people – and those not so young, to make them realize how invidious and destructive the spread of intolerance and of prejudice of an ethnic group can be, not only on the recipient but also on the instigator.

by Knill is 90 years old, she is an Auschwitz survivor who only began to share her story about 10 years ago. She is one of very few survivors in the UK and the author of a remarkable memoir “The Woman Without a Number”

About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
