Ritu Nanda karoor was an Indian businesswoman and insurance advisor. She was the chairperson and CEO of Ritu Nanda Insurance Services (RNIS). She was born on 30 October 1948 in Mumbai, maharastra, India. She belonged to the famous Kapoor family of Bollywood. Her Father was legendary Actor & filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Her Mother is Krishna Kapoor. He was the fourth child of his parents. Her grandfather was actor Prithviraj Kapoor. Ramsarni Mehra Kapoor was her grandmother. She had three brothers, Actor Randhir Kapoor, late actor rishi Kapoor and late director rajiv kapoor. She had a sister Rima Jain.
Ritu Kapoor was married to Rajan Nanda, an industrialist of India. She had two children, a son Nikhil Nanda, and a daughter Nitasha Nanda. Her son Nikhil Nanda married Shweta Bachchan, daughter of film actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. Navya Naveli Nanda and Agastya Nanda are her grandchildren.
Her paternal uncles were Shammi Kapoor and Shashi Kapoor were his uncles, and Nandi, Devi, and Urmila Sial were his Aunts. Her maternal uncles were actors Prem Nath, Rajendra Nath and Narendra Nath. Filmmaker Aditya Raj Kapoor, actor Karan Kapoor & Kunal Kapoor was his cousin. The famous Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor, Karishma Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor are her nieces. Actor Ranbir kapoor, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain are her nephews.
