Reset Ring Video Doorbell To Default Settings

This will show you how to hard reset the original Ring Video Doorbell back to factory default settings.  A hard reset will erase all the settings from the Ring video doorbell.  This is a good idea if you are having problems with the Ring doorbell or if you are going to sell it as well.  To remove the doorbell from the mounting bracket you need the screwdriver that came with the unit or a T15 Torx screwdriver.  Once you remove the doorbell you need to push and hold the orange button on the backside for at least 15 seconds.  Now you should remove it from your account by getting in the app, touch menu devices, click on the doorbell, device settings, general settings then remove this device.   You have now reset your ring video doorbell and removed it from your account.
