Die zweite Sektion der Alpspitzbahn
Die zweite Sektion der Alpspitzbahn Nesselwang bildet heute die Alpspitz-Kombibahn 2. Sie ist von der Bergstation der Alpspitz-Kombibahn 1 über einen kurzen Fußweg zu erreichen. Die Bahn wurde 2010 von Doppelmayr gebaut und ersetzte die zweite Sektion des 1er Sesselliftes (gebaut 1967 von Heuss), die sich auf gleicher Streckenführung befand. Auf einer 880 Meter langen Strecke werden die Besucher von 1188 Meter bis auf 1459 Meter befördert, bei einem Höhenunterschied von 271 Metern.
Die Talstation ist die Antriebsstation. Die Fahrgeschwindigkeit beträgt 5 m/s. Insgesamt gibt es auf dem Weg zur Bergstation 10 Stützen, wobei die Stützen 1, 2 und 5 als Niederhaltestützen ausgeführt sind. Wie auch bei der ersten Sektion kommen 8er Gondeln vom Typ CWA Omega IV-8 und 4er Sessel des Herstellers Doppelmayr zum Einsatz, hier jedoch nicht immer im Wechsel, sondern in der Reihenfolge 1 Gondel + 2 Sessel.
