In this video you'll see how to replace a ballast in a fluorescent light. If your fluorescent light just stopped working all of the sudden it could be a ballast problem. Rather than replace the entire light you can change out the ballast. It should be more cost effective and isn't a hard repair.

Well, at least I'm hoping that'll be the case!! You'll need to remove the old ballast and take it to the hardware store. I recommend calling around to see which store has the replacement ballast though. This will save some time and aggravation.
