Today I will tell you a completely new recipe and that is Pahari Bitter gourd. Somewhere it is also called Ram Karela, it is found in abundance in the mountains of Uttarakhand.

आज में आपको एक बिल्कुल नई रेसिपी बताउंगी और वह है पहाड़ी करेला। कहीं-कहीं इसे राम करेला भी कहते है ये उत्तराखंड के पहाड़ों में बहुतायत में पाया जाता है।

Required material

Pahadi Karela (Bitter gourd) = 800grm
Onion = 2nos
Red chilli = 4nos
Teekha laal powder = 1 tsp
Turmeric powder = 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder = 1 tsp
Salt to taste = 1 tsp
Black Mustered seeds = 1 tsp
Oil = 3-4 tsp

Method
*To make Pahari Bitter gourd, first cut the bitter gourd lengthwise and wash it and keep it aside.
*Put oil in a pan on the gas and keep it to heat. When the oil is hot, add whole red chilies and black mustard seeds, then add chopped onions....... Then add hot red powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt and fry for 2-3 minutes. After the stipulated time, add hill bitter gourd to it. And mix it well, add little water to it, stir the vegetable well and cover it with a lid and let it cook on low gas.
*Keep stirring it from time to time so that it does not stick to the bottom, now open the lid and take the vegetable in a spoon and check if the vegetable has melted, then turn off the gas, now your delicious hill bitter gourd vegetable is ready.
