Russia-Led Alliance’s Troops In Violence-Hit Kazakhstan l Is CSTO Putin’s Own NATO In Central Asia?

Amid violent protests, Kazakhstan has now turned to a Russia-led alliance for help. The protests, which erupted over a hike in fuel prices, have taken a violent turn in the last few days. Kazakhstan's president has now reportedly directed security forces to "fire without warning" at anti-government protesters. Protests continued & clashes were reported from different areas even after the govt rolled back the fuel price hike.
