Previously we looked at Motte and Bailey castles and the different features that they had. Today we look at the Stone Keep Castle. Whenever you mention the word castle, I'm sure they picture the same sort of structure, with a drawbridge/door, windows and crenellations on top. In this video we show you each different feature you'd expect to find inside a stone keep castle, by showing you some of England's greatest castles. Featuring footage from Scarborough Castle, Warwick Castle, Dover Castle and many more. We look at the interesting history behind castle's developing, and also tell you about the different features for example drawbridges, towers, curtain walls, ramparts, wells, mottes, baileys, keeps, great halls and so much more!
