Tutorial: Mob Farm on the Cheap for Crash Landing(18 iron per layer)

Here we make a mob farm only requiring 18 iron per level for 12 fans. With nowhere else for the mobs to spawn, you can put this basically anywhere, so long as it's far enough away so they can spawn. If you haven't gotten to the point where you can build a grinder, you can use Iron Spikes and a few extra Fans to push the mobs into the spikes. Although with testing I would recommend putting covers on the floor to prevent spiders from spawning. Spiders will spawn on 2x2 blocks, so place covers in a pattern to prevent that.
