The #1 Trucking Company Pay Scam

Some trucking companies use an old trick when paying their company drivers and owner operators. They don't pay the drivers for all of their miles driven. When a trip is actually 2500 miles, and the driver is paid 2200 miles, as the mileage software routes the truck the shortest miles, the driver can loose out on the pay, as for the most part, drivers don't have the means to check the mileage. The driver does know however, that his log book shows he's driven 2500 miles!
Think of the many thousands and thousands of dollars which trucking companies would save, by not paying drivers for every mile they've driven? No wonder the big executives of trucking companies drive the big fancy cars and make the big salaries!
