The Story of Chinese Character : 肌

肌 is composed of the BuShou of 肉 (meat) and 几 (small table). 几 is the picture of an ancient table. The table must support the weight of the object, which has the meaning of strength, so 肌 is used to represent muscle, meat full of strength.
