Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today after Cyclone Fani departed the coastal state. PM Modi also took an assessment of the damage caused in an aerial survey over the affected areas in Odisha. Talking to the press later, he thanked the people of Odisha and the state and central administration for carrying out relief and preventive action effectively. He announced severance package for the victims and 1000 Crore fund to the state for recovery from the disaster.
