Giant Steps Big Band Mid-Peninsula plays Dizzy Gillepsie's "Manteca"

Directed by Dr. David Hart, SJW's Giant Steps Big Band Mid-Peninsula plays "Manteca" by Dizzy Gillespie at the 2019 SJW Big Band Showcase, 5/5/2019 at Dinkelspiel Auditorium, Stanford University. The Giant Steps Big Bands give middle school musicians the opportunity to master jazz improvisation and jazz repertoire at an early age by being coached by some of the Bay Area's top jazz teachers and performers. Auditions for the Fall will be held August 16, 17, 24, and 25.
