Fantastic Four MCU reboot plot details. New Fantastic Four MCU movie takes place in another universe? Marvel Studios is currently in the Multiverse Saga in the MCU, exploring other universes and it looks like the Fantastic Four movie might take place in another universe outside of the main earth 616 universe and it looks like Jake Gyllenhaal might be cast as Reed Richards aka Mr Fantastic of the Fantastic Four.
The Fantastic Four will lead directly into Avengers Secret Wars, so having the Fantastic Four film take place in a separate Marvel universe could work as the universe could collide with the main MCU universe during or before Avengers Secret Wars. Linking the Fantastic Four to the overall Multiverse Saga story. The only question is, what happens after? Do they remain in our main universe?
