HOW to FIND GOLD! Gold Mining Basics - Finding Gold Veins

This is how I do it.  We start down in one of my lode gold mines and dig out an old collapsed adit.
Many people ask me how to find gold and the simple answer is; start digging where gold has been found before!  In this particular mine, we have at least 7 individual veins.  To start finding gold veins, you must have some basic geological knowledge and the drive to keep searching until you find what you are looking for.
