Your 11 p.m. Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Jan. 11, 2024: Another powerful storm system is on track to impact Northeast Ohio with mainly rain and wind. Wind Advisories will go in to effect 4 PM Friday through Sunday at 1 AM. Wind speeds could top as high as 45-55+ MPH starting Friday afternoon.

Precipitation chances will spread in as early as Friday afternoon. The onset of the moisture could start as a rain/snow mix briefly before switching to all rain through Friday afternoon and evening. Showers could be heavy at times.

Winds will continue to be strong through Saturday. Scattered power outages will be possible. The Arctic front will be zipping through after midnight Saturday. Temperatures will be falling through the day from the low-30s Saturday to low-teens Sunday.

Accumulating snow showers will be the main focus Saturday. Scattered snow will transition to lake-effect snow by Sunday morning. Many locations could see upwards of 1-3 inches of snowfall by Sunday afternoon. Higher amounts possible in the primary snowbelt. Brutal cold on the way next week.
