For many years BIG KAISER
For many years BIG KAISER has hosted its Breakfast & Learn event. We open our doors and provide a hearty meal followed by a technical presentation in our training room. This year we hosted the event online as a webinar because of the stay-at-home order in our state of Illinois.
We toured our showroom and our product managers discussed new products—giving a sneak-peek of products scheduled to be released later this year. We also gave a behind-the-scenes look at our repair room, including a new set-up to check and repair digital boring heads.
The tour was followed by a presentation on tooling and workholding considerations for 5-axis machining. Product Managers Cory Cetkovic and John Zaya discussed how to optimize machine tool efficiency and minimize down-time by investing in modern 5-axis workholding and tool holding systems using real-world applications.
We closed out the online event with an informative Q&A session moderated by Jack Burley, BIG KAISER's VP of sales & engineering.
