Introduction to Product Liability Insurance

Product liability insurance offers coverage against claims that may arise due to defective, or otherwise non-compliant products. For example, product liability insurance can cover expenses that arise in case someone is injured, or if the property is damaged, as a result of using your product.

Keep in mind that you may need to demonstrate full product compliance before you can buy an insurance plan. In practice, this can mean that you must submit the following:

1.  Lab test reports

2. Product certificates (e.g. Children’s Product Certificate)

3. Label photocopies
