The Burj Al Arab or
The Burj Al Arab or The Arab Tower is the most iconic luxury hotel in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Burj Al Arab stands on an artificial island that is 280 m (920 ft) from Jumeirah Beach and is connected to the mainland by a private bridge. The shape of the structure is designed to resemble the sail of a ship.
The hotel is managed by the Jumeirah Group. The Burj Al Arab has 28 double-story floors which accommodate 202 bedroom suites.
The Royal Suite, billed at US$24,000 per night, is listed at number 12 on World's 15 most expensive hotel suites. The interiors are gilded in 24-carat gold.
There are quite a few restaurants in this hotel, serving different types of cuisine from around the world. One of them is Al Iwan, with its Arabesque dining at its very best where we had dinner.
