Empowering Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) with Employability Skills

While many see a world brimming with opportunities, but for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), accessing equal opportunities in education, employment, and life often presents significant hurdles. Moreover, bridging the skills gap for them emerges as a critical challenge.

Meet the aspirants of the "Empowering Abilities Through Skills Program," an initiative supported by Statestreet as they share their stories of optimism and resilience. This program has been a beacon of hope for over 225 PwDs associated with the program across Karnataka, West Bengal, and Odisha. Through the efforts of our implementation partner Anudip Foundation, these participants have not only acquired crucial skills but also built confidence, mastering digital and computer technologies that are essential in today’s world. We at nasscomfoundation are proud to have trained the beneficiaries, equipping them with the necessary employability skills that once seemed unattainable.
