Learning to weld TIG for
Learning to weld TIG for beginners, we approach the equipment and the basics to start with inverter machine and we do a test without contribution of material.
For the tests we use:
Gas: Argon 100% (High purity) at 20 cfh
Tungsten: 3/32 violet color.
Inverter machine connected in direct polarity (electrode to negative)
Current: 40 Amps.
Material: 18 gauge zintro profile.
In this video we answer the following questions:
- Can TIG be welded with any inverter machine?
- What minimum equipment do I need?
- How to sharpen tungsten?
- How to regulate the height of tungsten?
And many others...
During the tests a red tungsten appears, which is NOT RECOMMENDED TO USE, since it contains thorium and can be harmful to health, in some countries it is prohibited its manufacture and marketing, is better to use violet or gray tungsten.
