Ingredients list

Togari bele / toor dal /split pigeon pea - 1 and half measures (in a tea glass) - 100 grams approx

Beans - 1\2 kg

Jaggery powder - 1 teaspoon

For bassaru masala
----------------------------------

Fresh/desiccated coconut - 8 to 10 teaspoons (grated)

Tomato - 1 (boiled and peeled)

Onion - 1\2 (1 if it is small)

Jeera / cumin seeds - 1\2 teaspoon

Garlic cloves - 5 ( 8 to 10 if it is small)

Coriander leaves - as much as shown in the video

Tamarind - small ball sized

Curry powder - 3 to 4 teaspoons

Water to grind

Salt for taste

For tempering

Onion - 1

Cooking oil - 3 to 4 teaspoons

Mustard seeds / sasive - 1\2 teaspoon

Hing/asafoetida - 2 pinches

Ingredients for palya

Boiled beans and toor dal /split pigeon pea /togari bele

Cooking oil - 3 to 4 teaspoons

Mustard seeds - 1\2 teaspoon

Onion - 1 chopped

Red dry chillies - 5 to 6

Grated fresh /desiccated coconut - 7 to 8 teaspoons

Salt for taste
