On Wednesday 30 November 2022, Classics for All hosted An Evening with Professor Mary Beard, in conversation with Classics for All’s Chairman, Jimmy Mulville.
The evening was an intimate and relaxed insight into Mary’s lifelong love affair with classics. Jimmy and Mary comfortably discussed Mary’s personal classics journey, her experience of being a woman in classics, key influences on her life and career, and the contemporary relevance of classics now - and its future. Their discussion was followed by an audience Q&A.
