Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Restoration of Erathia (commonly referred to as Heroes of Might & Magic 3, or Heroes 3, or abbreviated HoMM 3) is a turn-based strategy game developed by Jon Van Caneghem through New World Computing originally released for Microsoft Windows by The 3DO Company in 1999.
- Map Description -
In this game I present a map that I have built over a period of time. The map is based on "Back for revenge" but I added a lot of interesting features to it and changed the type of victory. I also added a whole new underground world.
The most interesting thing, every player starts in a "safe zone", an area that to enter you have to visit the relevant Keymaster tent located in a complicated and far away place. For example, in this game I start playing as a human, when the relevant Keymaster tent is in the underground snow area. This thing makes the game harder, players won't die so fast and everyone will have a chance to get back into the game.
I tried after dozens of attempts to make a very balanced game, and I think I succeeded, in all my last games every time it was a different AI that became the biggest and strongest, and not one specific AI, which shows that the map is balanced.
So anyone who likes a very long, hard and challenging game against AI, I think this will be a map they will fall in love with.
