I designed a mini workbench
I designed a mini workbench with some stops, fence and clamps that will increase work efficiency. And I added a shooting board function to the workbench. It is important to hold the material firmly in order to work with a router more safely and accurately. However, it is difficult to use clamps if it is a short material or a narrow material. You need some sort of solution for these situations without interfering your router movement. But now, no need for set ups for holding down materials, just use this mini workbench.
Shooting board function is just like a one used with hand planes. You can use a router to adjust, trim the width and length of the material. It can be used for fine adjustment after cutting parts with a hand saw or circular saw. With this function, I think you can get the most out of your router.
Since it is a mini bench, you can use it with your folding portable workbench or any place you want to work. And it's holding ability goes well with hand tools and sandpaper work too. You will see how I used the mini workbench for carving wood in another video.
