Programme Note (written by Nicolas Tzortzis):
Inspired by a recording of Georges Aperghis’ “Signaux”, the work wishes to recreate the same ambiance using only acoustic means, which explains the generalized use of multiphonics.
Written between July and September 2017 for the Ensemble du Bout du Monde, the piece is heartedly dedicated to the musicians of the ensemble and to Georges Aperghis, without whom this music would have never existed.
