Synopsis:
This farm has a BEAUTIFUL, south-facing, 68-module solar array on the barn, but undersized conductors in their electrical infrastructure. In preparing for their incoming Tesla Powerwalls, we went out to pull some new feeder conductors so that they were getting maximum solar production. Between all this renewable energy, abundant agriculture, beautiful landscaping, and no shortage of chickens, we might find ourselves back at their door if a zombie apocalypse ever breaks out!

With so much electrical equipment in so many structures, Joel and Cliff worked mostly at separate ends of the property: Cliff on the solar inverter side and Joel on the house panel side. Here’s how some HDPE, 2100’ of THHN, and several big enclosures got this farm back to energy independence…
