In this video, Ro is joined by Ilene, a client of GSW that has had alopecia for over 12 years. She wears our wigs, but wants something new, and is open to trying all styles and colors! Even though Ilene is a seasoned wig wearer, there are always lessons to learn to create the most realistic look with wigs. Ro will share some amazing basic tips as well as talk about how face shape plays a part when choosing the perfect wig.
Here are some of the tips she will show and explain:
1. Be careful to not wear your wig too low on your forehead.
2. If your wig is looking flat, brush your wig the opposite way to break up the memory.
3. Back comb the front hairs of your wig to keep them out of your face.
4. How to secure your wigs.
5. How to store your wigs.
