Want to know how a Cattle Pot works? Lets jump right into this video and see how it works, see the middle deck raise on air, how easy the boards come off the sides for winter use, how we bed the trailer & what cattle haulers are required to know to keep themselves safe as well as the animals!
The comfort of all the animals that we haul is our number one priority and I take it all very seriously! From cleaning, disinfecting, bedding and the warmth of all the animals is how I start every trip. I triple check my trailer to make sure it's in the best of working order, i triple check my shavings so I know the comfort is there and using the boards and vents that are in the trailer gives me the piece of mind that everything will be smooth sailing and that the animals are comfortable while be transported to each farm!
Using a guide to know that every animal has the right square footage is a big help when loading. Over crowding trailers is a big no for me so this guide for myself and farmers gives us a big sigh of relief each and every load. A lot of people don't know but us drivers take our jobs seriously especially when we all have the same love for it.
I truly wish that I would have started this journey a lot sooner in my trucking career, it's not a job it's a passion!
