DIY GoPro Grip Handle with Internal Tripod - Cheap and Easy To Build!

For a while now I've
For a while now I've thought that someone should make a grip handle and tripod combination. This lets you continue filming and set the camera down without changing mounts. This build is actually a combination of products and can be put together quickly and easily.

Parts list:
- GoPro tripod mount - Can be bought at most places that sell GoPro accessories.
- Several viewers have brought it to my attention that this CPVC cap is not necessary. The silver cap from the tripod can be drilled out and used just like this CPVC cap. - 1/2" CPVC pipe cap - Can be found at most hardware stores. DON'T buy a PVC cap. You want CPVC. They are different sizes.
- A short 1/4"-20 screw - This goes through the CPVC cap and into the GoPro tripod mount. A 1/4"-20 x 1/2" long bolt with a matching nut (to use as a spacer) works well.
- One lock-on bicycle grip - These come in pairs only. Make sure you buy grips that have the locking rings on both ends of the grips.
- Mini Pocket Tripod - This is usually listed as a "Mini pocket tripod with cell phone cradle".
