Peavey Valveking VK 212/100 mods

Small demo of modifications I have done to my Peavey Valveking VK 212. IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR HOW TUBE AMPS WORKS OR DON'T KNOW HOW TO DISCHARG CAPACITORS GIVE YOUR AMP TO SPECIALIST WHO KNOW HOW TO DO IT SAFELY!!! What was changed: - Input module changed to the same that is in Valveking MKII - Added jumper in effects loop to jack sockets, so when nothing is connected then signal goes straight to power amp (as it is in Valveking MKII). This mod works the same as just inserting patch cable. - All ceramic capacitors from 1nF to less then 1uF replaced by MKT capacitors - Lead channel EQ elements changed to known from Marshall JCM800 - First switch - (R100 mod) when on then R100 is bypassed - Second switch - (C149 mod) when on C149 is disconnected - Third switch - (JCM mod) when on one stage is bypassed - Fourth switch - (Mesa mod) when on change of some values For more info of last 4 mods please check: web.archive.org/web/20150829045040/http://ultimate… Thanks for watching!
