MIRRAX 150 - UoM Robotics - Reconfigurable Omni-direction LIDAR Nuclear Decommissioning Robot

This extended video  show the 1st successful tests of the MIRRAX - 150 which displays the functionality of using Mecanum wheels with a reconfiguration body design . The vehicle is planned to be deployed at the Sellafield Nuclear site, and will aid in exploration & inspection tasks.
Build using  low cost "off-the-shelf" components and 3D printing technologies and using Dual LIDAR sensors for 3D point cloud Mapping.
