Nissan has partnered with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) with the goal to challenge and test Nissan e-4ORCE all-wheel control tech under extreme terrestrial conditions.

Researchers brought an X-Trail e-4ORCE to Miyake-Jima Island, which shares ground conditions similar to the moon’s surface, to demonstrate how an X-Trail with e-4ORCE can provide stable, predictable traction, quietness and cabin comfort on a variety of on- and off- world road conditions.
