Jovis' 1974 BMW 2002 is his daily driver! It has almost double the power of a stock BMW 2002 M10 but does not use the S14 motor. His friends joined in on the video shoot! Next on his list of plans is going to EFI electronic fuel injection. Thanks to everyone who submitted questions on Facebook and Reddit. Thanks also to Tyler for shooting the photos and roller video clips! It is NOT for sale, so don't ask :)

ANSWRD is a series of car reviews by real owners. Not automotive journalists like Chris Harris, Doug Demuro or The Straight Pipes. Cars in this series include the Gaglardi Vex, Porsche 911 GT3, McLaren 600LT, Ferrari F12/F430 and 458 Italia, Acura NSX, Corvette, FRS, BMWs, Drift Cars and others!

A fun sneak peek into the pre-interview questions I (Ben) asked Jovis:

What was your first modification to it? Do you feel it's too good for the street? If you could change one feature what would it be? Does it feel slow now that you're used to it?

The first mod I did on this car was the lower air dam. When I bought this car it had an early euro bumper on it which was already an upgrade from the stock ugly 5 mile bumper, but I love the look on this front air dam and I found one for a decent price so I had to get it right the way.

I think this car is perfect for the street. It’s got all the modern spots to it with none of the sensors or non sense. I don’t need ABS, or rear view camera, or traction control, or driver assist. I like to feel the car shake and listen to the engine sound. I have enough gauges to tell me if something is wrong, and a great mechanic in case something does goes wrong.

EFI (electronic fuel injection) with ITB would be nice. It will make slightly little bit more power and make the car more efficient

With the stroker motor, with dual Weber carb, the car is really responsive.  I drive it pretty hard and it hasn’t let me down yet. If anything ever happen to this motor, I am going to swap a F20c motor on this like my buddy Garry lol

When I asked What is your favorite thing about this car? (Could be a mod, a feature, a feeling it brings out in you, anything!) Jovis said: So when I got this car, it was already modified. The engine had been slightly modded, it has decent suspensions and interior. The previous owner took really good care of the car, but I wanted to make it mine, so I spent the next 6-9 months changing most of everything on the car, except the suspension since it’s dead on. I put in a new stroker motor, a new 5 speed, new seats, steering wheel, front and rear wilwood big brake kit, Limited slip, modern air conditioning, ignition systems, brand new stereo systems with subwoofer, and a lot of kooglewerks product etc. just making it the best daily I can.
