Step-by-step guide on how to replace / install driver side seat track cover on Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country minivan ( 2008 | 2009 | 2010 | 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | 2017 | 2018 | 2019 | 2020 | SE | CVP | AMP | SXT | LIMITED | CREW | VALUE PACKAGE | EXPRESS ).

Driver's seat trim cover almost always cracks and falls down on these Dodge and Chrysler minivans. It is just a bad design and it is unavoidable. There is a plastic hook which holds onto a metal bracket and with time how people get in and out of the vehicle that hook cracks. Then the seat switch panel is not firm anymore and in place which results in all other clips which are holding it in place to crack.

So this video shows how you can install brand new seat track side cover on Grand Caravan and Town & Country. You can buy an aftermarket cover which is not too expensive and it is really quite easy to install.

First you will need to remove the bottom part of the seatbelt because it has to go through the opening on the seat switch panel. Pull it through and install the seatbelt back onto the seat. Then hook up the front hook and press the middle clip of the cover into into the small opening on the seat itself. Now install small screws which holds the back part of the cover. In the end push the small plastic trim screw through the opening at the bottom part of the seat trim panel. In the video I am showing and explaining everything in details.

Thanks for watching.
