Dr. Arika Bansal discusses Mr. Sandeep Anand's hair transplant result on his frontal zone and the crown and his future planning for the mid-scalp region and the remaining part of the crown. He was grade V on the Norwood Hamilton Scale of baldness. His hair transplant was planned in a manner where the frontal zone and crown were transplanted but the mid-scalp was left untouched because there was a lot of pre-existing hair. The hair in the mid-scalp region had a probable scope of improving with the use of Finasteride. Hence, he was prescribed Finasteride for that area. He received 3805 grafts for his transplantation procedure. 2337 grafts were taken from the scalp donor and 1468 grafts were taken from the beard donor area. His procedure was performed on the 30th of November, 2022. The current results exhibit stunning growth for the transplanted areas whereas the mid-scalp has shown no improvement.
