iOS 15.7.8 Released to the public and is available for iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, iPhone 7, 7 Plus, iPhone SE, and iPod touch 7th gen.  iOS 15.7.8 is an important update that bring many security updates to support iPhones.  Apple also released iPadOS 15.7.8 for iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 4th gen.  

iOS 15.7.7 was released along with iOS 16.6, iPadOS 16.6. and many other updates for both new and old apple devices.
