5S can help us to
5S can help us to improve our process through discipline and make a better culture. it is a tool of lean to develope a waste free culture and maintain it to a long way.
1. SORT
Sort is a first term of 5S. it is use to make the our workstation clear from waste or unnecessary things.
2. SET IN ORDER
Set in order is second S of 5S. it helps us to get a better order of our frequently use items. so we can reduce conusmption of time under this S.
3. SHINE
Shine or sweap is a term to clean our workstation or any place in our use. it 's a lean tool to get better enviornment which is neccessary for human and materials too.
4. STANDARDIZE
Standardize is use to make a habit to implement first 3S in daily routine. This S make easy to carry on first 3 S in out Industry or Workstation.
5. SUSTAIN
Sustain is a final term of S. it is most important to implement. Mostly we ignore this element after a ver hard work to implement first 4S. although it is essential to go a long way under lean tool 5S.
