Mbuland is a part of our pulic health series called Chapa Magonjwa.
It features Heri, a 10-year-old superhuman with abilities to hear and talk to animals. He is on a quest to exterminate malaria causing mosquitoes after they take the village hostage and kill most young children under the age of five years, including Heri’s infant baby sister, Rubbi.
Heri intensifies his search for a solution, investigating all possible ways to get rid of mosquitoes. Spy mosquitoes find out about Heri’s supernatural powers and report him to their intelligence spymaster, PENNI, who gives an order to kill Heri.
