House of Stripes - Owner Can Keep Candy Colours

#stripes #house A High Court judge has ruled the red and white paint can stay. The owner of the £15m house in Kensington, West London had been ordered by the Council to repaint it white. Widow Zipporah Lisle-Mainwaring challenged the order and won (24 April 2017). She painted the candy stripes to "get her own back" on neighbours. They objected to her plans to demolish the property and replace it with a new house and controversial mega two-storey basement with a swimming pool.
