If you currently have a Quest 2 ...the Quest 3 is a AMAZING upgrade for your PCVR setup! The resolution / FOV increase on Quest 3 and its smaller form factor with wider IPD range make an amazing experience. The Quest 3 Virtual Desktop update make it feel like a true next gen upgrade from the PC VR performance of the Quest 2 & it's easy to recommend if you're someone looking for a nice priced and high quality VR headset to replace Meta's previous headsets. If you're coming from Quest Pro or even some PC VR focused headsets like the Valve Index or HP Reverb G2 then the differences will likely be minimal. For me, someone who has used the Quest Pro and PSVR2 as my daily drivers for PCVR for awhile now, the Quest 3 is a PC VR upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. The only big gripes I have are the lack of display port, the contrast between light and dark colours/areas could be better and the stock strap simply isn't good enough which means you'll need to pay EXTRA.

This Quest 3 PC VR gameplay / Quest 3 PCVR gameplay was captured on a PC running an RTX 4090 GPU, all games are running on max/Ultra settings.
