Fix 10/100 instead of 1000 Mbps Network Speeds
Just a quick video on fixing error message wired client on port 1 is running at 100 Mbps in virgin media router.
This could also be on other ports and is a simple fix.
Important: Make sure all your hardware is suitable to run at higher speeds. Router, Cable, Modem, Nic Card - Network Card, Extenders, Switches. There are all different cable types Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A and Cat7. What Kind of Ethernet Cable should I use?
Cat5e Patch Cable is capable of transmitting data at speeds of up to 1000 Mbps or 1 Gigabit per second.
