Watch this tutorial for the perfect New York Club Sandwich. It's a quick and tasty sandwich for a light meal.

Ingredients for 4 portions:

12 slices of sausage (chicken breast fillet)
12 rashers of bacon
4 hard boiled eggs
2 tomatoes
8 lettuce leaves
100 g mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard
12 slices of white bread
Salt and pepper
Mix the mayonnaise with the mustard and season with salt and pepper. Cut the lettuce into thin strips and mix with the mayonnaise. Toast the slices of bread. Three slices of bread make up one sandwich.

Therefore spread 8 slices with the salad mixture and arrange the slices of chicken breast on 4 of them. Lay the other 4 slices with the salad facing up on top of them. Slice tomatoes and boiled eggs and arrange on the sandwiches. Fry the bacon without fat in a frying pan until crispy and arrange on the sandwiches. Season again with pepper and place the 4 remaining slices of bread on the top. Cut diagonally through the sandwiches and serve.

The sandwiches go really well with typically American fries and possibly a mixed salad.
