Welcome to this Being Ewethful minisode where I card, pin draft and then spin Jacob sheeps wool into yarn!
Ewethful Fiber Mill is a wool mill located in Halsey, OR that processes yarn and handspinning fibers straight from the sheep. The wool and fibers used to make our yarns are grown and purchased locally so our carbon footprint is low and our yarn is sustainable. We wash, card and spin wool at our mill to create the Ewethful yarn line.
In the Being Ewethful vlog I share and hope to educate about owning a wool mill, where wool comes from and how important it is to know your wool. I share videos about farm life and yarn making. And of course I talk all about wool and making, the things I'm knitting, handspinning and weaving. And the inside scoop on what is like owning a small business.

Our mission at Ewethful Fiber Mill is to fill making hands with small batch American grown yarns and fibers. We strive to produce lightly processed products that maintain their character, have low environmental impact and tell the stories of the animals and shepherds from whence they came.
