1 tbsp - olive oil (Extra virgin)
30g – onion (small onion or ½ medium onion)
1 - clove garlic
1 tsp - dried oregano
½ tsp – dried basil (optional)
1/3 tsp – paprika
1/8 tsp - black pepper
300g (11 oz) canned tomato purée ( or crushed tomatoes)
1 tbsp – sugar
1/3 tsp – salt
* If you don’t have olive oil, replace it with any flavorless vegetable oil.
*Change seasonings amount to your taste. You can add chili pepper if you want make your sauce spicier.
*Store refrigerated for 1 week or frozen up to 3 months.
