Hello Everyone,
Lets make Soft, Yummy Pune famous sponge dosa
It is very light snack
It turns out Soft , yummy and healthy and is loved by all.
It is very easy to make then our regular dosas,
Preparation time -45 min
Cooking Time - 25 min
Additional Time For soaking (6-7 Hours) and fermentation(6-7 hours)
INGREDIENTS
FOR BATTER
1 Bowl Urad Daal
1 Bowl Poha
5 Bowl Rice ( Any variety)
1/2 Tsp Methi Dana
FOR COCONUT CHUTNEY
1/2 cup Coconut
1/2 cup Water
2 Tsp curry leaves
Corriander
2-3 Green chillies
3 Tsp Roasted Chana dal
3 Tsp Roasted Peanuts
Salt
FOR POTATO MIXTURE
1 medium chopped onion
2-3 Green Chillies
3 Boiled Potato
1 medium chopped onion
2-3 Green Chillies
Curry patta
1/2 Tsp jeera
1/2 Tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 Dhaniya Seeds
Coriander.
Salt 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 Tsp

PROCEDURE.
1. Soak the rice, Urad dal, poha and methi Dana in water for about 6-7 hours. Grind them into fine paste and keep it to ferment for 7-8 hours.
2. For Preparing Coconut come Groundnut chutney take a jar put Coconut, curry leaves,Coriander, 2-3 Green chillies,Roasted Chana dal, Roasted Peanuts, and grind them into fine mixture then add ½ cup of water and salt and again grind it for few sec and the chutney s ready you can also give tempering to or chutney.
3. Prepare Potato mixture –
1) Heat oil in a pan add cumin seed , mustard seeds , coriander seeds as soon as they start popping add curry patta ,green chilllies and onion into it.
2) Once the onion cooked to a transparent add turmeric powder and salt into it after stirring for 2-3 min then add Boiled potatoes in it add coriander in the end and keep it aside
4. Now see at your batter you will see bubbles in it mix it lightly
5. Take a small amount of it as u need and add water ( if needed) mix it maintain semi liquid consistency and prepare it on any pan or tawa , when you spread the batter keep the flame high even while cooking after flipping for first time simmer the flame o medium once ready take it out ,add oil and butter as and when needed butter add a good taste to sponge dosa.
6. Serve it with chutney and Potato mixture also u can serve it with sambhar.
