The Marin San Quentin has been a bike I've wanted to love ever since I bought the first generation SQ1 back in 2020.  Sadly, however, there were several small factors in the frame design that I just couldn't get behind and eventually sold the bike a year later. But the story doesn't end there! Marin has once again partnered with slopestyle legend Matt Jones and together they have completely revamped the San Quentin, bringing it up to and beyond the modern standard for aggressive hardtails.
