Spa Valley Railway "Winter Steam Gala 2024" 09/02/24

The 2024 Winter Steam Gala was held on the 9th,10th and 11th of February an extended 3 day event compared to the usual 2 day event including 828,78019,80078 and 34072 257 Squadron (as 34066 Spitfire) pulling the two sets of 4 MK1/2's. It also included the Queen Mary brake Van doing mostly shuttle runs between Tunbridge Wells West and Groombridge hauled by the recently return to service Andrew Barclay  2315 "Lady Ingrid" but some Queen Mary brake Van rides were the full length of the line hauled by 828, 78019 and 34066. There were also some Double Header which made a great spectacle with 80078 and 34066, 828 and 78019, 2315 and 828, 78019 and 80078.
